Welcome... Someone once opined that five hundred chimpanzees seated at PCs will reconstruct Rogets Thesaurus, eventually. Why is this important? I have no idea whatsoever, but it sounds really convincing. And speaking of 'sounds', we at Full Measure Music are truly delighted to bring a new 'Cookie of Delight' (CD) of wonderful "wiggling air molecules" to your fortunate ears. Valuable Gem Recovered! ----- Wayyyyy back when, in the mid '60s (before electricity, automobiles, and frozen margueritas) there was a guitarist I first heard at a small dance club in Branford, Connecticut, called "The Cheri Shack". At the time of my introduction to his artistry, Peter Neri was lead guitarist for a band called The Pulse -- a New Haven-area act that was bringing great original material to the region. I saw The Pulse a number of times, and they never played to less than a full house, whenever I went to hear them. Raw and volcanic, The Pulse was one of the best bands (if not, in fact, THE best band) that you could see "up close and personal", at that time, at that place.

Doing a web search, one day recently, I discovered that Peter was, indeed, still making music. I tracked him down to mid-state Vermont, where he has been devoting his time to music, raising a family, and documenting software for the mapping of the known universe (or this quadrant of it, anyway). My find is your gain, folks. Check out the ARTISTS and CLIPS pages for a formal introduction to this wonderful artist!

As we've previously stated -- We're actively looking for new talent to promote. We'd like to hear strong, original melody, chords and lyrics in a an alternative context. Specifically, we're looking for songwriter/performers who:

• have developed their craft to the degree that they're ready to 'put it on the street'.
• are willing to work hard to move forward, professionally, and who believe they truly have something special to offer.
• can provide us with a good example of their best work, on CD or cassette (we're looking for potential here, not production value).
• may actually have CDs to distribute, but lack access to a distribution channel, or fulfillment capacity
